    • IDENTITY: The eldest son, was created Earl of Atholl 1357, he is designed John Stewart Earl of Atholl in a truce with the English that year, of which he was one of the guarantees.. He had a charter to himself and Margaret his wife of the lordship olf Balveny in the county of Banff, 25th March 1560, of which he had another charter to himself and Eleanor Sinclair his wife, 8th December 1476.
